About taste of life
In this section I talk about food and drink establishments, stores, dishes, drinks that I have enjoyed in different countries.
I make recommendations based on a very simple principle: after answering the question “Do I want to go back to a certain place or eat/drink this or that dish/drink again?”. If I answer, yes – I want to! Then I make sure to do a post about it.
Important nuance: unfortunately, some recommendations may lose relevance over time. But I hope that most of the posts will be relevant and useful for a long time.

A very simple nondescript restaurant but very emotional. Then you need to eat khinkali. This thin, elastic and soft dough I have never met, the filling is also good. Highly recommend. However, the taste of khinkali depends on the change of kitchen staff. Sometimes khinkali well, very tasty, sometimes just good.
Of the other meals, I still liked the vegetable salad with nuts, it’s just khinkali good;)

This is a store of various Georgian delicacies (cheeses, wine, spices, jams and other preserves, sauces, etc.). But I want to recommend this place as a cheese place, because everything else can be found in supermarkets, but I have not seen rare types of cheeses anywhere else. Especially nice that you can try all of them before buying, and even with a glass of wine, if you wish. This is a big plus of the store, especially considering the prices for some types of cheese – you do not want to buy something unknown, and then get upset.
I will be honest, I like Italian and French cheeses much more, but still for a variety and expansion of horizons, you can try Georgian aged and even monastic varieties.
What I recommend to try (the links will be a description): Dumblehacho, Ashmelo, Dampali queli (type of Camembert).
Well, from the more standard ones, I like fresh / young Suluguni, very flavorful Guda (from sheep’s milk) and Nadugi (like tender ricotta).

This is a hotel, but I recommend the restaurant, where guests can eat and eat in Stepantsminda. Despite the fact that this institution here is the monopolist (or other establishments of such level in the village yet), but they try more than in Tbilisi, where so much competition among restaurants.
Great service, decent food, diverse Breakfast. For Breakfast you can come for a fixed fee, even if the hotel you live (do not write the price, better to check with them at the time of the trip).
